Just released version 1.04 of the beta, which is pretty awesome. Their goal is to keep the game play of CS 1.6 while adding the benefits of new graphics from the source engine. There are plenty of things that need tweaked still, it is a beta, but it's mad fun. MSN me or add me to steam if you wanna play.

It runs off the source engine. I used to play CS Source on my 1.2 ghz amd with 512 mb RAM and a geforce4. I find it hard to believe you can't run it.
