What kind of chars do you have in NWN2?
I got a lvl 20 Monk that I played the first time through the game.
(20 monk, lawful good, elf)
I like to play monk cuz then I can skip multiclassing without having to worry about anything.
Now Im a lvl 8 Fighter lvl 2 Frenzied Berserker, Chaotic Evil, Human.
Being evil is fun. Being good makes the story more fun. :)

Is this game as boring and repetative as NWN original?

I'm almost done downloading it now. Initially I feared that it was to be an oblivion clone, but it seems like they did well and I wanna give it a try now :>

O_o How did you even think it could be an oblivion clone? It's not the same kind of game at all, the only common point is the "rpg" on the box description.

All the screen showed it as one (atleast all the ones I saw) so I stayed away....been playing it now and it's amazing. Before I quit to desktop for food I had just arrived to Neverwinter, and was just about to proove myself to the Watch.

I couldn't give a fuck about that stupid plague and I wanted the stupid woman I had to keep talking to to die... And the combat was boring as hell I wish there was a speed up button.

You really just don't like good games? :(
You confuse me, dear sir, but your ass makes up for it.

I think the fact that it plays almost turn based is what turned me off of it.
Also, "good games" is a matter of opinion.

My current char:
Half-elf Fighter....just straight up one class. I'm gonna multiclass a theif and something else (cleric?) and go evil for my next one.

Imo Baldur's gate games were the best D&D based rpg that went out. NVMs are good too, but I don't like them as much as Baldur's gate. Icewind Dales are quite fun too, but there's not enough interaction between the chars ingame, so it's not as fun.
Oh I forgot about Planescape Torment, this one was awesome too, but I lost the disc, wish I could find it again :(
And yeah, first NVM's campaign sucked... But had awesome mods, and the add-ons were way better.

To each their taste^^ I know I have wierd taste sometime but imo BGs weren't that bad (imo Planescape Torment was way better tho).
BGs were fun because of each character had a special personnality and could interact between each other, often in a fun way, making a "serious" rpg quite fun at some time, some RPGs atm are way too "serious" imo. Now you may not care about that aspect of a game, and then yeah, BG isn't that great.
Oh I also liked the graphics, go figure =P
