since ncsoft fucked over nezekan by making it an aussie server, everyone moved to zikel. since zikel was already a pretty high pop server, it's looking like the highest pop server as of now.

Zikel's starting to look like Sieghardt 2.0. Catalyst rolled there, KoS, RiP, someone said something about DoO being on there, not to mention L2Blah admin crew... should be pretty fun. Sucks that Sieg's pop will be split between like 3 different servers though :(

you mean the everyday ping caused by distance? Well, that could be a bit of problem, but if its not worst than L2 was, I'll be fine - this is one of my reasons why I'm planning to start a chanter.

About the game client download - if I can download it, doesnt matter to me how long does it take - if its less than 12 hours^^

I tried to do what I can with the bandwith-stuff, thats why I have a 60/6 mbit connection now. All I know is that in L2 I had a far worse connection and still, I was able to play and have pvp. Now I've a better comp and a better connection, so I hope the bests.^^

you;ll be fine, maybe higher ping then the rest of us, but meh everyones gonna have network latency unless your in the server room directly connected to the server at nc soft server farm.

It was only a tip, while I was bored and empty-minded after 24hours of work... anyways, I made a speedtest with a server hosted in LosAngeles, West Coast. This was my result:

A friend of mine has a server with some running services on it, and when I bought the domain itself, the domain was pointing to his server. With this, I dont have to pay for a web host service, and I also have a mail server with webmail and pop3/imap.
The client gui can be changed in the client settings menu, atm I dont have any installed Aion clients and I also dont remember, where is that exactly, but I'm sure if you dig it a little, you'll find it. I remember I was just messing around with the options and once it was changed, and it was more familiar for me too. :)
