I use itunes and upon adding in my mp3's, at times it will leave out alot of information like album name, artist, etc.

It makes it hard for me to sort my music.

Instead of editing hundreds of files one by one, is there a program that will allow me to change the names of multiple mp3 files at once?

ITunes should let you change all the common information at once, like artist, album, etc...

I know Foobar has a multitagger that you can script to detect tags based on the filename.

but it's not free, so you have to do a lil reverse engineering or buy it XD

I use MusicBrainz tagger. If you're really lazy, it uses a database and a fingerprinting system to autotag your music for you.
