i would assume a decent end machine shouldn't be to bad on aion

anytime you get thousands of things happening in realtime over a network, crossinf countries, oceans etc, your going to get some latency.

The whole refusing to help out paying customers dealing with missing/stolen items without a police report thing.

I know there's the argument of don't give people your account details if you don't want to see your stuff missing but how on earth can they justify not telling you who your character traded specific items to, given that it's your character and everything that goes on with your account that you're paying for is definately information they should be willing and able to provide.

Plus I had stuff stolen twice, once when no one else should have had access so I don't know what the fuck is up with that.

Also how is it not shafting the customer by being too lazy to enforce their own EULA? They were harder on name changes than dealing with obvious botting problems. I would have been more than happy to see prices skyrocket and slews of buffers banned if it meant no botting at all - characters in Catalyst included.

I just don't like how they've handled their customers and after playing WaR for a few weeks I'd already seen what a developer that listens to it's community is like and kinda realised how the fuck I thought that it was worth paying NCSoft for the non-services they non-supplied.

You know, for the longest time I hated NCSoft and their shitty customer service. But one thing that really stuck to me was the fact that after leaving L2 a couple years ago and going to Blizzard and playing WoW for a couple of years. Having a game company give shitty service, but put out a decent game and not listen to every whiney 13 year-old shit that thinks just because he can't beat every single person in PvP and 1-shot every end-game boss, or even make it to the end-game bosses playing 1 hour a day and 3 on the weekends; really made me appreciate Lineage 2 and NCSoft alot more.

Meh, so it'll take 5 days to answer my petition about a bug, but at least I know I'll be playing with a competent community again. So tired of all those fucking WoW mouth-breathers.

And it'll be a bitter-sweet feeling when all of these WoW players that are waiting this game play it and realize that NCSoft doesn't give two shits about how little they can play, and that the game isn't meant for them, that they'll see what's it like for a game to go to shit for certain communities.

They've already ruined one decent game, it's nice to know that they won't be able to ruin this one also.
