I'm actually thinking about leaving my job. The Pharmacist/Pharmacy Manager I work with is a total douche bag...and he reminds me of Ned Flanders from The Simpsons. He cut our technician hours from 150 to 90. With 1 full time person and 4 part time to split 90 hrs doesn't work. So, 1 person got fired/laid off, I got cut to 32hrs from 36/38, and the other 2 got cut from 25/30hrs to 20hrs or less each. And I usually work like 9-4 now he has me working total opposite...at night like 2-9pm. GRRRR!!!!!!!! And, not to mention other company's & hospitals pay more...so I'm thinking of putting my 2 weeks in if something doesn't change soon.

Nah. I quit my part-time job but I still have my main job :D. I'm gonna rest for now...I'm tired and I wanna do some fun stuff for the summer.

I think Zel is a pharmacy technician, they take prescription, refill prescription drugs, cashier when somebody pick up their medicine(if I'm not mistaken and yah hospital pays more and good benefits and maybe if you work in the hospital they will pay for your education if you want to become a pharmacist.

Well, my title is a Pharmacy Technician. Basically I am like a nurse is to a doctor. but here is the long description: I do data entry, which is taking the paper perscription your doctor gives you/ or your bottle which has refills, and inputing it into the computer system to print out on a label which goes on the bottle and bag. I pull the drugs off the shelf and count the pills and put them into the bottle. I also do paper work, when our order of drugs comes in the morning I check them in and put them on the shelf, input the stuff into the computer and do reports. I also answer phones, and cashier when the customers come to pick up their perscriptions. Tbh, a lot of pharmacists are very lazy because we do most of the work, they just have to make sure were doing it correctly.

I would like to become a CPhT (certified tech) and work in a hospital where its better pay and better benefits. Not to mention no asshole customers. But, it takes time and money to pass the huge test. lol

It was fun for me but the downside about it is that I already spend it all on shopping lol. My other job was in retail before, I was a Ralph Lauren Polo Specialist so I work in the mall and I shop almost everyday :(. I spend more than I earn in that part-time job then this one that I walked out on is a night auditor job bah so boring and my head is not working right at night time hahaha....I get horny though at like 1:00 am and then I get distracted :(
