It's kinda bare but oh well I'm running out of stash.....I need some nice painting and a console table for my tv :(...I think I need a rug too and I can't decide on what to do with my walls in the bedroom. But I am thinking that I should get like a plan(fake plant) to put beside my my bed near the window. I am planning to put a little computer table on the other side of the bed.

the entry way and the small kitchen

yah, Cali is very expensive :(, I was looking at some condo in this area and the 1300 sq. ft 2 bedroom is like in the high 500's wtf....Maui is cheaper :(.

But a 2 bedroom apartment is like 1650 here but I like living on my own and no roomates :D. So i got this 500 something sq. ft. apartment for 1300 a month. I like it here in this apartment though :D

you can get a cheaper place in a not so nice neighborhood. Dublin ranch is just higher compared to other places. Most apartments here are luxury apartments but if you try to find apartments in other city, it will be cheaper but as cheap as $700 a month for a 2 bedroom. You can prolly get a decent 1 bedroom for 900 in an older apartment and a different city.

Zel, I will check your post when I get home. I can't see your pics out here at work. If I live in Ohio and I get paid like what I am earning now. I would probably live in my own condo or a townhouse. It's a good tax break.

Yeah, keep in mind too...my building isn't a new building like yours but it has large apartments, up to 3 bedrooms & 2 bath. We have a pool, tennis court, basketball court, & outdoor community area etc. And its in the woods, so no traffic outside...nice and quiet! :D I like it here but spending money on an apartment is such a waste of money...even though its 700$. :/

Matt and I are actually looking to move into a townhouse/condo next year. Our lease will be up in March, and we are getting married so we thought a condo would be a good first house. Mortgage around here for a condo, is around what we're paying for this damn apartment lol.

Yeah a house to rent. And there are apartments around here for $350 but they're small and 1 bedroom (like the size of medi's tbh lol). :/

I'll never understand why women need so many fucking purses. I have 1 wallet and it works just fine, lol.

I have 2 purses and 1 wallet from Coach, they cost me over 200$ a piece, so I don't go buy a new purse every few weeks. I keep my purses for like a year or so then pass em down to my cousins. Now, tote bags are another issue...I have like 10 of those. :/

To Medi, that was just half my closet and I don't keep all my clothes in there lol!! Matt's side was a hell hole so I didn't take a picture, but its similar to my side. That closet I swear is the size of a small bathroom and the biggest closet I've seen in an apartment!! :D I once saw this closet in a house that was like the size of a bedroom...I was very jelous.

Hey, I love purses and shoes ok :P and I don't give them out because they are freaking expensive and I take care of them so I can still use it and I buy classic design so I can wear it all year round. Like my coach is like almost 4 years but the other one is newer which I regret buying coz it's more like a trendy coach then my juicy is what I am using right now, except for my casual juicy one :P..... I want a hugeeeeeeeeeeeee walk in closet where I can see all my clothes, shoes and purse :P. I only put my undies and bikinis in a drawer the rest they are all hang. I used to buy bra's there when I was in my early teens because my parents paid for em, and they wouldn't buy a 13/14 yr old stuff from Victoria's Secret. But seriously...there is a noticable difference imo, how it feels how they look, etc. And they last longer. underwear from wal-mart lasts like a few weeks lol, and its always uncomfortable. :/

ANYWAYS back on topic...

Average house price around here I would say is $250,000 thats like a 4 bedroom 2.5 bath (not sure sq footage), 2 car garage, nice sized yard. Although, I don't live in the city, its suburbs... so stuff is much cheaper I would say. The condo's we've been looking at are around 110,000 for 3 bedroom, 2 or 1.5 bath, 2 car garage.

Talorth
July 10th, 2007, 11:01 PM
seriously, even I know that one of the best things a woman could do for herself is buy a good bra.

Yea, and on topic. I sort of live in the suburbs myself, although where I come from there isn't really such a thing as "suburbs."

Yeah, a 4 bedroom house with 2.5 baths and a 2 car garade is about $580,000 depending on the area, you could probably get it down to $520,000 out of town.

And when you put these kind of houses on either a nice piece of property or a nice view by the ocean you are talking big bucks. (Like $1.1million.)

I wish it wasnt so expensive here im going to have a hell of a time when I move out.

5 years ago my house was worth 280,000. Now its 450,00 and the market is still climbing. If my parents finished the basement and added another bathroom + a bedroom they could probably get 490,000.

Not bad considering that they bought it for 190,000 16 years ago. Of course to buy another house you just end up paying the same thing anyways.

A half bathroom is one without a shower. It's not a full bathroom (shower, sink, toilet) so it doesn't count as 1 bathroom when its listed in the house. ;)

For some reason I have always disliked suburbs just for the reason that, I don't know I find them depressing. Unfortunately I will probably end up living in something similar to a suburb. I guess you could say that when you see the row homes in england suburbs give me the same feeling.

Meh, can't have everything I suppose.

900,000 gets you this.... here..

http://www.royalvictoriarealty.com/realestate/image.php?Id=5524&image_table=tbl_files

2 bed 2 bath @ 1400 square feet.

http://www.royalvictoriarealty.com/realestate/image.php?Id=5518&image_table=tbl_files

thats our "condo."

A "reasonable" condo in victoria is 250,000 for 1 bed 1 bath and 670 squarefeet in a not very good neighbourhood.

I'm trying to find how much houses are here.. you could get one for 600,00 in a fairly reasonable area thats 4 bedroom 3 bath and 3500 square feet... Ugly though, but thats quite reasonable.

this house is virtually the same as mine, and in fact in a cheaper neighbourhood, as well as being older...

Its 4 bed 3 bath @ 2500 square feet, it costs 535,000 O.o

2.6mil.... wow thats expensive for the size of the house... It looks like its beach front though? All beachfront houses in Perth are gayly overpriced aswell :( Old shacks go for like a mil lol...

And my suburb isn't actually that big heh. Its just on the edge of the metropolitan area, so all the surrounding suburbs are pretty much mine too :p Those happen to all be national park and hills and trees and dirt tracks and shit :o

Wow, $1300 a month, I'm looking at ~$600 in the nice part of town out here in Michigan ~_~ I could never move out to Cali.

Jadien

Your outside of your apt looks pretty nice... 1300 bucks a month? God damn that's pretty cheap compared to here and I'm prob only 3 or 4 hours away from you.. Santa Barbara... Condo's and Apartments would run you 1800 to 1900 dollars a month...

I pay 2300 a month for my place and it's nothing special compared to 700 dollar a month places in Texas, Michigan... Ohio.. even some parts in Florida, but I'm going to own it in like 20 some years lol.

My bud moved to Washington State, works at a Wal-Mart and managed to get himself a 2 Bed 1 Bath Apt w/ a Pool and huge living room... Only costing him 500 bucks a month =(

I really have to get out of Cali one day and move to some place that I can get a taste of all the seasons... Especially a place that snows

Gafaton's sister lives in Seattle Washington, and her rent is up in the $1000 area for something smaller than my apartment. It just depends on where you are really...

$2300 is the same amount that we are paying for our mortgage before. It is a 3 bedroom house with 2 car garage. The living space is 1600 sq. ft. in a 7,000 sq. ft. lot. And that house is kinda far from the bay area...commute is bad but the houses is a little bit cheaper.

Yeah.. 2 min walk from the state beach.
