i download music, if i happen to like the artists, their cd, and songs, then i buy it, cuz i like to own tangible things

these types of sites lets consumers preview new songs etc without buying the cd, i know many times i heard a song on the radio bought the cd listened to it and was like why did i just pay 20$ for this piece of plastic?

this site was also charging for the songs, cheap, and i guess the artists wasn't seeing their money. thats understandable, making money off someone else stuff :(

the only reason that this is a problem is because the producing label takes so much of the profit from the cd sales, that the artists are going to want every penny they can get. Its the same reason a coke and a popcorn costs 10$ at the movie theatre. The movie studios take a huge % of the ticket sales that the only way for theatres to make enough money to pay their workers, is to sell stuff at these inflated prices.
