I tried once against lilcookie and it said 3

Yeah once you defeat the player it just says you played the max, but up until then it says the real amount of tries you've had.

Also Perant, we've both been beaten in the high score department now :(

yeah, i can't ever seem to break the 30k mark either. i can beat the eighth level, too, but i'll end up with like 28-29k points, and then get rolled on level nine. once this tournament's over i'm prolly gonna hang up my curveball shoes =(

Don't even bother passing level 8. I did that only once and ended up with like 27k.. You seem to get more points just by getting mad super curve rallys in lvl 8 than trying to pass it.
