I agree man, THERE IS DEFINATLEY RACISM IN THE MEDIA.

Charlie Daniels described the story better than I ever could, here is the link

Not racism per se, but the media can pick and choose it's targets.

It wouldn't be a rosey picture for them to start giving the fact that perps are in fact equally and proportionally the same per race. Unfortunately either side uses both cases like cake to fill big fat ugly mouths with slander. Blacks don't get special treatment, whites don't get special treatment. It is all about the sensationalism.

ANNA NICOLE SMITH IS MORE IMPORTANT THAN RACIAL DISCRIMINATION.
*EDIT, AND 5 MEN THAT BRUTALLY KILL TWO PEOPLE. OMG WHO IS DANNIE LYNNS FATHER OMG OMG. OMG FORENSIC RESULTS ON ANNAS STOMACH CONTENTS AND BLOOD RESULTS OMG OMG!

"This case shows the enormous consequences of overreaching by a prosecutor," Cooper added.[5] In the same interview, Cooper offered no explanation of the woman’s motive or mental health. However, he said that no criminal charges will be brought against her because she “may actually believe” the many different stories she told.

Although there were racial slurs in that case, I find it funny that in the United States that IS THE ONLY PROBLEM. Rape cases, in Canada as well, aren't treated fairly. The woman, whom constantly was potrayed in the limelight as a 'stripper' and not just a woman (Hmm making a generalization based upon occupation to try and make them seem inhuman, shall we?) is disgusting. The case was treated incorrectly, and this shit happens all the time. Inconclusive evidence, hah, the doctor and nurse statements suggest that there was swelling consistent with rape, but because one nurse later said that there wasn't 'abbrasions' on the vaginal wall she MUST BE LYING, even though that same forensic nurse said there WAS SWELLING FFS. "May actually believe." Hah. Slut got what she deserved apparently -- not that I would ever believe that ever, but thats what people think. But the cases aren't dealt with correctly, the email that the accused sent hours later coincides with her statements. It is just disgusting to me people have a field day about the race card when if it had been a white woman no one would have cared in the fucking first place, and the underlying issue isn't racism. A woman could of been raped and the case wasn't dealt with properly. This shit happens all the time, and its disturbing how many rape cases don't go reported.

The media is biased, DIDNT YOU GUYS LEARN THIS IN GRADE 3?

Jesus Christ, the perpetrators of this crime are some brutal motherfuckers. This is why I carry a gun :)

I, frankly, am surprised this story didn't garner national attention; it has everything you need to divert attention away from reality Fox News style.

As to the suspects, lets remember, they are just that. Is there any DNA evidence? It seems to me blacks are the most exonerated by dna evidence motherfuckers on the planet. Maybe we could find that evidence 20yrs early and save whatever random black person who happened to fit the profile 20yrs of their lives.

Conversely, if these are the perps, they deserve to have exactly the same thing done to them. Rape, especially one as brutal as the one described in the article, coupled with murder, torture and mutilation, deserves the "eye for an eye" approach to justice imo.

I am really surprised this didn't go national.

P.S. The Duke lacrosse rape case became, rightfully, a testament to what can happen when racism and a rush to judgment is reversed. The main difference between the lacrosse players, and their black counterparts accused in similar fashion, is the fact that Seligman and the rest could afford to fight the wrongful accusations.

The body of a girl cut up and stuffed in a garbage can in their apartment

They shared an apartment, they all lived together.

The police are keeping a somewhat tight lid on this, but from what I found out:

Police found the girls car that they dumped after kidnapping. It was dumped on the same street that the apartment was.

From the car they found fingerprints of one of the suspects because his fingerprints were in the system since he is an ex-felon.

From that they got his name/adress/etc etc, also a search/arrest warrants, went to the apartment found the body there. They probably found some evidence from the body, however I dont know exact specifics.

Okay after reading that story...Im horrified.
I dont know why this stuff scares me so much. But now I wanna go get a gun to protect myself with. I dont like feeling like someone could come to my house and kill me at any point, and I cant do anything about it but dial 911 and hope they get here in time.
Im so flustered over reading that story...I literally have the chills. I cant believe there are still people out there that would do such a thing. The torture explained in the story was horrible. How can you do that too someone? Do you think the suspects knew the victims, or just randomly picked them?
That leads to my next problem. If the suspects did just randomly pick people. Then that REALLY sucks for the victims. I guess this is where "luck" facters in...
I dont even know what to say. Im ashamed that new's these days cares more about britney spears's bald head then actual crimes and problems were dealing with in this country.
At the same time I want to get a gun to protect myself, I feel like not everyone should get a gun. I dont even know... I just cant believe how heartless and scary people can be... I live in a nice area, but I dont like knowing that if someone wants to kill me at any time, it probably wouldnt be hard...

my mission here is done.

www.packing.org (http://www.packing.org) click on the state ccw info to find what concealed carry laws your state has. A firearm is the most effective tool for personal self defence, especially for women (dont need to be strong etc, to use a gun).

Okay I think I seriously am gunna get a gun to protect myself with...So I dont look like a complete dumbass when I go there. I have a couple question's.

1) If I were able to get maybe a handgun ( deagle ftw. ) am I only allowed to keep it at my house?
2) Im assuming Im only allowed to use it at life/death situation. Meaning if someone is after me with a weapon, what if they are chasing me without a weapon, but I know they have the intent to kill me?

If I think of anymore question's Ill post.

1. No you can get a permit to carry it on your person. There is also an age limit to buy/carry guns. Depending on state is usually between 18-21yrs.

As far as concealed carry permit, depending on what state you live in, its ether fairly easy or very hard to get a permit. Generally, all southern states and north/mid west have a lot friendlier gun laws, California, New York, New Jersey, and Washington DC are nearly impossble to get a concealed carry permit in.

Deagle is not a good hand gun for self defence. In fact I dont think its a good gun, period, other than being flashy and looking like a toy it shoots like shit, and does nothing well other than being a "toy". A gun is not a toy, its a tool. Deagle is also heavy, and hard to conceal, I would give it 2 days tops before you get tiered of lugging that hunk of metal around all day long. Also I doubt you are strong enough to draw it quickly, and efficently, and fire it accuratly.

For a woman, I would recomend something in .32ACP. My personal favorite is Sig Sauer P230/P232, but there is a lot of good other choices out there. Just for comparison Sig weighs 1/3 of what hte deagle weighs, and is a lot more cormftable to fire. Also it fits cormftably in an average size purse, while you need like a beach bag to carry a deagle.

2.) Using it once again depends what the laws are of the particular state that you live in. Some allow you to fire only to protect yourself, or another human being, some states allow you to fire to protect your property. Some states have "shoot first" laws, some dont.

My best advice is to find your local chapter of NRA, and they will tell you more about what particcular laws in the area are. They also offer training classes which I reccomend that you take. Owning a firearm is a huge responsibility, and yes, you need training and to practice fairly often to use it efficently. I, personally, shoot at least once a week, sometimes more depending on how much free time I have. But going to gun range is fun as hell too.

Could just be an accomplice and not the actual ringleader. It could also be a setup but I would be skeptical of that without some connecting evidence.

I would be very suspicious but I would also seek to understand how they would be stupid enough to stuff a dead body into their own garbage can. Even the most idiotic would think to put distance between themselves and the dead body of the person they killed.

1. CCW rules vary by state so check out the ones in force in yours.

2. A good "rule" to apply is what's known as "reasonable escalation of force". That means that you use the least amount of force necessary to control a given situation. If pointing a weapon at someone stops them then that's where you should stop. However, if you point a weapon at someone, you better be ready to put them down. Try not the think of it as killing another human being but rather, saving your own life (and possibly your family members as well).

>>Firearm safety rule #2: never let the muzzle of your weapon cover anything you are not willing to shoot.

A good handgun for you is probably a .38 snubnose or a glock 9mm. They are small, don't kick much, fairly accurate (as accurate as pistols can be), and they are relatively durable. You definitely want a weapon you can be accurate with and too much of a kick has been known to throw off a round or two.

Spend as much time as you can at the range so you can develop "muscle memory" with drawing and firing. You have to practice until it is unconscious. Then you are ready grasshopper ;P

Ruger 10/22 is a great starter rifle. Its not a self defence weapon, as you generally cant walk around town with a rifle on oyur back, and its too big to draw quickly, but its a great small game hunting rifle and just a genrally good rifle to learn to shoot on.

I loved my M16A2; it was accurate enough that I could put 10/10 shots in the head of a man sized target at 500 meters (in the standing position). Rifles are way more accurate due to the length of the barrels. See, the length does matter when it comes to guns :p

As to your question, believe it or not female Marines tended to be more accurate with rifles then their male counterparts (can't say that is true today but it was in the 90's). Ergo, visa vi, and thus and such, girls can handle rifles just fine

The woman who cant keep up and do everything the men can do, shouldn't be in the armed forces. The ones who can, and there are more then you think, should get the same respect that their male counterparts receive.

The primary mission of any military branch is to: ACCOMPLISH THE MISSION

If the woman are able to accomplish the mission, then they should not be discriminated against.

I would think this would be common sense... but people are pretty fucking retarded.

So is:

1. Treat all weapons as if they were loaded.

2. Keep your finger off the trigger until your sights are on target.

3. Be sure of your target.

If you approach firearms with a cowboy mentality, bad things tend to happen. If you approach them with common sense, understanding, and maturity, they can save your life. What could be more important then that?
