Dude, Wii bowling is so addicting. Little side story, my friend had to talk to his girlfriend and went into the other room, about 20-25 feet away out of view of the TV and continued to bowl. Got 8 pins his first roll then picked up the spare, all while in the other room. It was pretty impressive.

Yeah weve played from the kitchen which is pretty far from the living room. I also hit my cat in the head by accident with the remote. I was standing in front of the coffee table bowling and she jumped up on it behind me and I didn't know. Every time she hears the Wii noises she runs and hides. :(

Ok ... i know dumb question kinda but since this is my thread ...

I'm gonna be buying a wii in about a month or so (yeah yeah i know i'm late ... whatever) ... since i don't have a thumb on my left hand how difficult is it going to be for me to play?

See with pc games i could always work around the no having a thumb on the left hand ... console games are not the same.

Um, some games it'll be harder than others.

The Wii would have to be the most "I'm missing my left thumb" friendly system out there.

A lot of Wii sport games just need one hand.

kinda sad nintendo didn't try very hard with the exteriour design of the wii and it looks better than both xbox360 and ps3

the 360s faceplate looks quite cheap, and replacing it with another one makes it look even cheaper in most cases. the power button looks really CRAP. but what bothers me the most is the damn bend in it. glancing at the 360 it just gives the impression that its going to break apart when you pick it up :P

the ps3, GEE SONY WHY DIDNT YOU JUST MAKE IT SQUARE LIKE THE REST OF YOUR PRODUCTS FFS. it makes me wonder if they wanted to copy the 360 but do it opposite...

i can see why people call it the ps3 grill... it does look like a grill LOL.


meanwhile the wii is small, so girls call it 'cute', and the fact it has flashy lights is like WOO. plus its portable, portable ftw.

Well, you don't need 2 hands to play it like most console controllers. The controller is like a remote (look @ the picture of the Wii I posted, theyre next to it in pink and black). It has various buttons on top and one under it like a trigger. I would suggest using your right hand tho, since it may be kinda hard to keep ahold of the remote while swinging without a thumb. It does have a strap to keep in on ya, but still.
