There's a difference between knowing the states, and knowing an entire continent filled with countries in which most of the worlds history took place.

TBH American's shouldn't learn American history/geography until they have aced European and Asian history/geography.

I would agree with you... this is intended to make United States citizens look stupid. That much is obvious. What it does prove however; is that the United States education system is failing, or perhaps people are just turning a blind eye towards everything (In any case this is happening in Canada and the U.K. as well.)

Alot of education dies during old age. 23+ once it is no longer used day to day. If you went to high school and grad and then went to college 8 years after with no sort of school work in between do you think you would be able to remember all the info.

Our education system sucks depending. In basic psychology you learn to top it off, You cant base a survey on something like that. The one state they are in doesnt account for the USA. They would need to go to every state and ask the same question to the same amount of people and then say on account of the USA. This includes people in jail, in mental institutes. All types of different walks of americans must be incorpoerated in this to rep america. So i can say those people arent to caught up in life. They dont represent us as a whole though. Nothing embarrassing in my opinion, It's like quizzing a certain school they may be dumb but doesnt mean all schools i nthat grade level are.
