Interesting look into a slice of Americana

I was watching "The World's Fastest Indian" the other day, and there's a part where they're on a freeway and there's these signs with poertry, advertising some shaving cream. Me being an 80s baby, I had no idea what the fuck that shit was, so I looked it up. The story of the company is really interesting.

Kinda sad our advertising isn't as imaginative as those were, ours nowadays just shows you something, shouts "BUY THIS SHIT", and goes away.
