Yeah Aion's level cap isn't that high but I'm sure they plan to raise it with expansions etc. I quit playing it because the PvP was boring not to mention the content was boring after 40, though I've heard that has at least changed. Faction based PvP is an always will be boring though. They need to make a game like L2 with an open PvP system. Dunno about everyone else but I miss being able to kill anyone anywhere I wanted.

I had a blast playing that game, up until end game where it was the usual Zerg when the enemies weak, they wait until you're all bored and log off then zerg you, you wait until they get bored and zerg them etc...

You get too many carebears who won't war and shit in open pvp games like L2, but then on WAR online you just had to go out and quest/xp in the open areas and anyone you ran into from the opposing faction was fair game! No need for politics or anything, just get amongst the fighting.

I don't really see much attraction in pvp in a game with levels, especially when the levels are ground out in pve. Doesn't even make sense, they're such different things...

What about EVE? I'm undecided on that. There's no 'levels' as such and PVP doesn't effect your level/skills in anyway at all, but you lose your fucking ship if you die... It's kind of a cool idea but at the same time it turns me off pvp a bit. Maybe higher level money is really easy to come by...

I'm talking purely open. The politics and betrayal are what make the game fun. Theres nothing better than having an alliance with a clan and then killing one of their members. Then their leadership gets all bent of shape and says don't attack back. I don't know, I guess I'm the kind of person that just enjoys ruining someones good time so I find it amusing.
