The best looking games on the wii?

Just read an article from wii-uk.net about ssx blur for the wii. I've been following this game pretty closely and its starting to look great. A little quote i found in the article got me pretty excited aswell.

"SSX Blur is easily one of the best looking games I've seen on the Wii so far, and it gives you more of an idea of what the system is actually capable of. Everything is rendered with great clarity, and the characters seem to have some kind of pseudo-anti-aliasing effect that makes them look immensely detailed and layered." -wii-uk.net

People have been downplaying the graphical capabilities of the console since months before launch. It's clearly not as powerful as the competition but does this make for a weak system? I dont believe so. With the right art direction and some good effort on the graphics can make for an extremely beautiful game.The game will clearly look better when in motion, but heres a few screens you can take a peek at.

Wii's not a graphics powerhouse (only a little bit more powerful than the GC), but who fucking cares? I love playing the Wii. I can't wait till I get my own and some sports games really start hitting (NBA/NHL/MLB 2k8, Madden '08, etc.). That's gonna be the system to beat for sports games, I guarantee it. SSX Blur is gonna show that early on.

I clearly think the pics look nice and they definatly do show off some nice graphics. Whats shitty about those pics? Is it just because the art is cartoony. Either way the game will be fuckin fun and be real nice on the eyes.

I'm not denying it's gonna be fun. I'm just saying, if those graphics are what the Wii can produce, then it really is just a GC w/ motion sensor.

Is not about the cartoony graphics, im playing crackdown atm and although is cartoony also, it got better graphics than this game.

I would like the motion sensor and all, but im not risking getting my TV broke cuz a damn strap.

As i see it, Wii is for kids and stuff. PS3 and 360 are for gamers. And its ok, they are different markets.

Well i wouldnt really put crackdown in the cartoony category but ya it obviously does have better graphics. Once dev's start pusing harder with the wii its going to go a long way past what you see in those screens. And i would say those look a lot better than what could be done on the gc.

And trust me the likely hood of you actually putting your wii-mote through your tv screen is about the same as you finding gold in your back yard. The stress tests they've done with the strap basically comes down to people being complete retards and literally trying to throw the remote at the tv. But they've given any new wii-motes the new strap.

If it's second generation of games (sometime next year) has a good FPS that doesn't fuck up where Red Steel does,it'll be a good thing.
