I cant remember the gallery, but there was this one guy who had made a photorealistic digital painting that supposedly was 4gigs in size before he finished it. If I can ever find it again i'll post it because I can't honestly tell if its a photograph or a painting.

talorth, there is this guy on www.customize.org (http://www.customize.org) that does interior renderings that literally look real. he designs all the funky looking furniture then tweaks the fuck out of the shading and lighting tones.

The problem with interior/exterior house renderings, is that a lot of architecture and design is done using 3D programs these days. Photorealistic renderings are quite easily achieveable if the skins you are applying to surfaces are realistic enough (like say using a tile of a photo of a brick to create a wall skin), and if you program your lighting points well enough. Sure it takes skill to master the programs, I'm still relatively shit at 3D CAD, but yer it's sorta not as skillful as it lookS ^_^
