I stumbled across this video awhile back and was surprised I hadn't heard anything about this game before. It's a long video but if you start watching it chances are you wont be able to stop, Will Wright is so innovative.

It looks boring when you first start watching but as the video goes on you become more and more amazed at what he's created.

Spore for the PC and XBOX 360 are being released on the same day. It's not a pure PC game, it will be released for the 360 as well.

It's also interesting how it's an online game but not really an online game in that you can't talk to or see other people playing but the game automatically uploads other players created content to your universe.
although I think he will eventually come out with a normal online expansion since that's what they did with the sims.

Well it's kinda cute to make your own creature and stuff, but the biggest part of the game is the space age, and you don't really get to see your creature much. (cept during diplomatics and stuff).

I didn't play much in the space age, I dunno it felt kinda pointless to me... The missions seemed really repetitive, but maybe it'll get better afterwards. Guess I'm not into that kind of game anymore.

Also, EA are fucking dumbass for putting the SecuRom system on their newest game... I had major issues with my comp so I went through the 3 installation the game allows you to do (yes, 3...). So in order to install the game again, I had to call EA's services, who told me to prove that I had bought the game, otherwise I'm defaulted as having illegally acquired my copy of the game >.> (Gee I wonder why I would needs keys if I got a cracked version?). I don't really keep all my proofs of payment so I had to crack my legally purchased copy of the game in order to play again...

Got the lesson, I won't buy games from EA anymore.

I saw a review of this game the other day on Attack of the Show on G4 tv. It looks interesting to me, and its made by the same people who made The Sims/The Sims Online (which I used to play a lot). :mrgreen:
