Hal Turner, racist radio show host, known for his - self-described - "in your face" style, has turned into the target of one of the world's largest online communities. This community being the 4chan image board (www.4chan.org (http://www.4chan.org/)).
4chan, known for being a legion comprised of hundreds upon thousands of anonymous e-soldiers, has chosen Hal Turner to be their next victim.
Why Hal Turner? Let me explain.
For those unfamiliar with 4chan, their /b/ forum (for random) regulars are well known for being rowdy, unruly, and devastating when it comes to raiding and invading other web forums. Their "raids" started out the Gaia forums, and then went on to the online game, Habbo Hotel, and have only escalated from that point. Soon, their raids have become a part of the real world, calling in radio shows (Tom Green's become familiar with the "/b/tards" - as they call themselves - and their prank calls on his live show).
So, who's next? Why, one of the nation's leading pro-white figureheads, Hal Turner. Hal runs his pro-white radio show on his own web server, and broadcasts from his own home. His racial and political standings are pretty harsh (one of those, "If you're not a straight, white Christian, then you're going to hell" kinda guys), and this is where his reputation stems from.
Now, don't get me wrong. Hal certainly isn't all bark and no bite. He's done his share of beating up minorities in an attempt to cleanse America. He got into a fight with a disabled war vet, Jersey City deputy mayor, Jaime Vazquez, who wore a sign reading "Hal Turner -- shoot me! Racists and bigots like you are cowards." Yes, that's right. This man stands up for what he believes in, by fighting Purple Heart-awarded Vietnam veterans.
So, a "routine" radio show raid, conducted by the /b/tards, escalates to a degree that nobody expected. Hal Turner, live on his radio show, threatened the lives of the prank callers, and even posted the phone numbers of these minors on his website, and encouraged his listeners to track them down and cause harm to them. Now, not all /b/tards are idiots. They understand the concept of invasion of privacy (read: Public disclosure), which struck a nerve.
The drums of war beat once again.
More prank calls came in. Calls came not only to his radio show phone number, but to his personal phone number, found with some e-sleuthing. Calls were made to his wife and son, threatening to rape and kill them. The real kicker here, is that his mother, who he claimed in 2004 (I believe it was 04, I may be mistaken on this) passed away, has been receiving phone calls, as well. After this, inspiration struck. More personal information was dug up, such as his license plate number, home address,
Knowing that the prank calls wouldn't end soon, Hal Turner hired a call screener, Gertrude, to try to limit the amount of prank calls. Knowing that prank calls are now going to be a pain to pull off, /b/tards deviate. With the help of a tool called wget, and some other bandwidth-leeching scripts, the DDoS attack on Hal Turner's show begins.
After one night, Hal Turner shuts his server down, realizing that he can't afford the bandwidth fees (his server handled the attack just fine, though. His wallet, on the other hand...). Using some very poor math skills, Hal comes up with two separate numbers for his bandwidth fees (neither of them are actually correct, according to the bandwidth information he provided, however). Now desperate, Hal begs his listeners for money.
In another act of desperation, Hal Turner threatens the lives of those conducting and organizing the attacks on his website. Hal Turner threatens the lives of thousands of unnamed people, most of which are minors. With threats to firebomb the homes and slit the throats of the families of those attackers, Hal Turner digs himself into a hole that he cannot climb out of.
Soon after, he does another radio show, where he rationalizes his reaction to the attack. While Stormfront was not hit by a DDoS attack like VNN was, they both suffered from trolls and spam, as well as questions that these racist communities could not answer without making themselves look bad. The result was VNN being shut down temporarily, and Stormfront just being annoyed.
Turner claims to have filed lawsuits against John Does 1-100, and also claims that Skype, the Internet telephone company, is willing to give him the private information of anybody who's called into his show (which their ToS clearly states they will not do). A big portion of the "pro-white" communities in the US have become aware of this. Many have now disowned Hal Turner, and now look down on him. I'm curious about this. What kind of questions did [4chan] corner them with? I kind of thought that what the rest of us think "looks bad" is what racists think of as righteous and whatnot. A few I could think of off the top of my head:
~Christianity is an offshoot of Judaism, as with the other abrahamic religions. How can you knowingly follow a religion of Jewish origin?
~Many of you are godless. Given the rich, if backwards, mythos that has sprung up around White supremacism (The aryan purity of Jesus' blood, Jews having descended from the union of one of the original humans and Satan) how do you reconcile a rational, naturalistic worldview with irrational claims that one race is somehow objective superior to others?
~What is you definition of superiority? If it's physical ability, the blacks have you beat across the board according to any racially divided statistics you'd care to provide. If it's intelligence, the Japanese and Jews have you beat in a wide array of different tests authored by whites. Just what is it exactly that you feel makes whites "superior" to other races?
